It's always a great day when we secure a new contract! We love to see more and more people embracing renewable energy sources such as solar PV equipment. Recently, we we're contracted by a client in the Greater Bristol area to install solar panels on the roofs of two barns which are currently being renovated.
The area is being transformed into a small compound for a family to live in, spread across three different buildings. The benefits of this place is not just the breath-taking views it has, not only do you see the rising sun in all its glory. But you reap the benefits from it too!
With such an open and expanse area directly facing the panels, nothing covering them whatsoever.
The panels can harness even more daylight and in turn generate even more electricity, the positioning of the panels being not only where the sun rises, but in direct view of where the sun would be for the better part of the day, means that the panels are able to work not only harder, but for much longer throughout the day. Whilst solar panels generate electricity as long as there is daylight, when the day is brighter the panels output is increased. A clear sunny day on a big hill like this is the perfect conditions for your panels to operate, taking in the most of the daylight and giving back the most energy possible. Allowing you to not only save more but also generate excess energy which can be sold back to the grid or kept for your own use utilising battery storage!
That is only the practical side of things. Not only are they beneficial in use, but they also provide benefits from design. Aside from raising the property value, our solar panels are installed within the roof rather than on top of it, we aim to provide a sleek and non-disruptive design that blends seamlessly with your roof.
